Election Prediction That Has Just Come True In Abia State.

About 48 hours ago, a former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Abia State, Sir Don Ubani, had predicted that the Local Government Council elections that Governor Alexander Otti of Abia State said would take place today, Saturday(Eke)02-11-2024, would be a sham, and advised Abians on other Political Parties other than Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Labour Party, LP, and Young People’s Party, YPP, not to waste their time participating in an election that is designed to be a phantom.
Intelligence reports, so far, gathered from different parts of the State is that the Otti Government deliberately withheld election result sheets from electoral officers assigned to conduct the elections, hence there is a lot of rancour between the electoral officials and Candidates who are not of ZLP, LP and YPP in many Local Government areas.
To be precise, it is understood that election results, as earlier predicted, have been surreptitiously written by Abia State Independent Electoral Commission, ABSIEC, and would soon be despatched to Broadcasting Corporation of Abia for announcement this evening or, latest, tomorrow morning.
According to a reliable source of information, Aba-North, Aba-South, Arochukwu, Bende, Ikwuano, Isialangwa-North, Isialangwa-South, Isuikwuato, Obingwa, Ukwa-East, Ukwa-West, Umuahia-North, Umuahia-South, and Umunneochi Local Government Council Areas are penciled to be won 100% by Governor Alexander Otti’s newly adopted Party, Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Ohafia has been slated to be won by Action Alliance, AA, while Osisioma and Ugwunagbo are won by Young People’s Party, YPP.
Governor Alexander Otti wants to pull the wool over the eyes of Abians and Nigerians, to give the wrong impression that some Political Parties apart from Zenith Labour Party won in the Local Government Council elections he conducted in Abia State.
This is a big lie and calculated attempt to deceive gullible members of the Public. All the victorious Candidates of Zenith Labour Party, Young People’s Party and Action Alliance are members of Governor Alexander Otti’s political family who he has strategically positioned in those Political Parties.
In conclusion, no Local Government Council election took place in Abia State today. All that Governor Otti has done is a porous attempt to hoodwink the People of the State who could be vulnerable to cheap manipulation and subterfuge.
