Let Two Brothers Never Embark On A Mutual Kill.

Let Two Brothers Never Embark On A Mutual Kill.

Friday (Nkwo) 20-02-2026.

When two ‘brothers’ get themselves entangled in a fight in which both fighters die, that fight is called a mutual kill.

Nothing else leads to a mutual kill other than ego, avarice and (or) gap in communication. But with maturity, understanding, mutual respect, and tolerance, a mutual kill could always be avoided.

Why should it not be avoided?

A mutual kill avoidably makes it possible for a stranger to take possession of the inheritance of the two brothers that end up killing themselves in a fight that is a mutual kill.

Even before the fight itself, instigations are propelled by enemies of the two brothers who pretend to be friends to either of the two brothers.

In a Political Party, for instance, if two ‘brothers’ fight dirty to an irreconcilable extent, political poachers, even from outside their State, could take undue advantage of them.

In order not to allow the ‘enemy or stranger’ take undue and inexcusable advantage of them, ‘these two brothers’ should put their differences behind them, meet and sincerely work together in the overall interest of their estate and inheritance.

This piece may have been written in parable but those involved or referred to know themselves. Let there be altruism, maturity, understanding, and mutual respect. Once this happens, the enemy or stranger waiting in the wings to reap where he did not sow goes home disappointed.
