Press Statement By Hon Erondu Uchenna Erondu, Jnr’s Abia-South 2027 Senatorial Campaign Council, ECC:
(1) The Abia-South Senatorial Campaign Council for the Member representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, and, currently, the 2027 Candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, for Abia-South Senatorial District Election, Hon Erondu Uchenna Erondu, Jnr, wishes to thank all Members of APC in Abia-South for the overwhelming support they gave to Hon Erondu, Jnr, in the Senatorial Primary Election that took place on Monday (Afor) 18th May, 2026.
(2) That Hon Erondu, Jnr, emerged victorious in the Primary Election was a clear testament to the confidence Members of the Party in Abia-South have always reposed in him.
(3) The Campaign Council wishes to assure Members of APC in Abia-South Senatorial District that, with their continuous support, Hon Erondu, Jnr, will again emerge victorious in the Senatorial Election scheduled for Saturday 16th January, 2027, and will definitely set a remarkable standard in addressing the collective expectations of the entire constituents in Abia-South.
(4) The Campaign Council feels morally obliged to appreciate the concerted efforts of the National and State Leadership of the Party, most especially, the Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, and Leader of APC in Abia State, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CFR, for providing a level playing field for all Aspirants during the contest.
(5) In the perception of the Campaign Council, there was no Victor or Vanquished in the contest, as Hon Erondu, Jnr, sincerely hopes to leverage the experience and support of all that contested the election.
(6) Before long, the Campaign Council plans to reach out to each of the contestants in the spirit of inclusiveness, and, thereafter, will map out strategies for the way forward.
(7) Once again, the ECC expresses immense gratitude to the entire Members of APC in Abia-South Senatorial District, the Leadership of APC at all strata, and more importantly her commitment to give maximum support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
