Escalation Of Human Destruction In The Middle-East, Where Are The Global Leaders?

The disaster currently happening in the Middle-East is of a magnitude capable of escalating to a Third World War.
Two powerful allies, the United States and Isreal are jointly pitched against Iran. With precision-timed bombs, the two allies have been bombing Iran with deadly accuracy. The effect has been devastating.
On its own, Iran, being driven by strong religious fundamentalism, is not a country that is expected to surrender cheaply, not minding that many of her Leaders and War Commanders have been killed.
In such a scenario, human carnage is bound to be high. Because of the strategic position of Iran in the Middle-East, and the influence it asserts in the region, global economic fortunes and stability are bound to be affected. For now, the Strait of Hormuz, which is very strategic on the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, has become too dangerous to ships and sailors. Oil prices have gone up because of the crisis in Iran. Cost of living has become unaffordable to the poor masses in many countries in Africa.
Meanwhile, Iran is believed not to have helped the peace in the Middle-East, as it has been bombing many countries in the region that it considers to be friendly to the United States of America or are hosting American assets. Iran has launched drone and missile attacks against Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates. The Region has become almost ungovernable.
On the cause of the conflict, the United States of America, under Prisident Donald Trump, and Isreal, under Prime-Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, irrevocably believe that Iran’s Nuclear Power must have to be dismantled. In their considered opinion, Iran’s possession of Nuclear Weapons will constitute very terrible danger, not only to the Middle-East but to the World at large.
This intelligence is not made less when it is considered that there is a strong allegation that most of the insurgency devastating many countries in West Africa, and the Sahel are being sponsored from Iran.
The above facts or points not withstanding, and not minding how determined America and Isreal may be or how resilient Iran may seem to be, Equity Global Reporters Ltd thinks there is an urgent need for World Leaders to intervene in this conflict, as to deescalate it from leading to a Third World War.
World Leaders of the United Nations’ fame, especially those from Britain, France, Russia, and China, should not sit on the fence on this conflict. China and Russia should resist escalating this conflict by supplying sophisticated weapons to Iran.
They could take a cue from the peaceful resolution the United Nations brought to bear on the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. The 13-day crisis, 16th-28th October, 1962, also known as Caribbean Crisis, was a direct confrontation between the United States of America and Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, with the USA deploying Nuclear Weapons in United Kingdom, Italy, and Turkey while the USSR deployed hers in Cuba. Through intense back-channel negotiations, with active involvement of the United Nations, a peaceful resolution was achieved.
The time to act is now.
