Ukwa-West Stakeholders had a meeting on consolidation of Electricity in the Local Government Area in the Palace of the Chairman of Ukwa-West Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Chinyere Dike, at Umuokwoo in Ozar-West Ward, on Monday (Afor) 24th February, 2025. The meeting was a huge success.
After the meeting, following information that Members of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ozaa-Ukwu and Ozar-West Wards were having their zonal meeting at the country-home of their Zonal Leader, Hon Ezedinachi Kanu, at Ikpokwu village, Sir Don Ubani requested a former Transition Committee Chairman of Ukwa-West Local Government Area, Chief John Ajuzieogu, former Sole Administrator of Abia State Oil Producing Areas’ Development Commission, ASOPADEC, Barr Henry Chilaka, and Engr Chukwuka Immanuel Ubani-Don to accompany him to show solidarity with them, and, of course, they obliged him.
When they got to the venue of the meeting, what they saw was a mammoth crowd of both seasoned and young Politicians. There was no doubt that APC has taken over Ozaa in Ukwa-West.
Obviously, the political wind that is blowing in Ukwa-West Local Government Area points to one thing, and that is the fact that, come rain, come shine, Ukwa-West will play a very significant role in making APC take over Abia State in 2027.
